Anybill Continues Holiday Support to Community Group
Automated Accounts Payable Firm “Pays” it Forward with Program to Help Low-income Mothers
Anybill, Inc., a pioneer in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accounts payable solutions, celebrates its “Pay It Forward” tenet this holiday season with continuing support for the Healthy Babies Project (HBP). For a second year, Anybill will participate in HBP’s “Adopt-a-Family” campaign, buying gifts for young, low-income mothers.
Anybill volunteers gathered on December 12 to shop for gifts of clothing, baby supplies and toys for underserved D.C. women who struggle to break the cycle of poverty. The gifts will be distributed by Anybill team members on December 20th at the HBP Christmas celebration. The celebration is to be held at the nonprofit’s District headquarters.
Anybill also supports HBP by sponsoring furniture for two pregnant, homeless teens. The young women live in HBP’s new, transitional housing.
Ruth Rich, Healthy Babies Project’s Director of Health Education and Outreach, said, “It’s a blessing to receive the support of philanthropic businesses like Anybill. With their support we’re able to help women like Sonia. Two years ago she was pregnant, living in poverty and in rehab. Now she’s the mother of a healthy baby girl and is enrolled in college. Her story shows a caring community really can make a difference.”
