How does the reseller program work?
As a VAR Program member, you are eligible to receive either a referral fee or wholesale pricing on Anybill software and services.
Is there a deadline on my reseller agreement?
Typically, reseller agreements have a start date and no termination date. Periodically, we may revise the agreement with amendments for any necessary changes. The reseller agreement is cancelable in writing by either party with 30 days written notice.
Do resellers have an assigned territory?
No, we reserve the right to sign multiple dealers in the same city, metro area, or region. However, we do try our best to segment the market geographically and limit competition.
Do you have any VAR members in my area?
You can contact us for an answer to this question.
What percentage discount do resellers get on Anybill's software and services?
The discount percentage is substantial, but we don't disclose it online. Please contact us for this information.
Can I offer my reseller discount to my client as a price reduction?
Yes, although we prefer that resellers sell at our retail prices, some dealers who want to maintain independence and not profit from the sale can pass their discount on to their clients.
Is there a quota that I need to fill as an Anybill VAR Program member?
No.
How many sales can I expect to make as an Anybill VAR Program member?
It depends on how well you learn to sell our products and services, your knowledge of the benefits of our products and services to the client and the number of leads you can service. Experience shows that if you develop a solid understanding of our products and services and their benefits to the client, you can achieve a very high demo to close ratio.
Are there any fees or up-front costs to become a VAR?
No.
Do I need to be using Anybill software and services to become a reseller?
No, there is no requirement to purchase or use our software and services to become a reseller. As one might expect, experience has shown us that resellers who do use Anybill software and services internally generally have a stronger grasp of its features, functionality, and benefits. That is why we encourage resellers to use our software and services by offering them directly to resellers at our wholesale rate.
How many resellers do you have now?
Currently we have close to two dozen VAR program members and that number is constantly increasing. Our goal is to have several well established resellers in every major metropolitan area in the United States.
What percentage of Anybill sales are made by resellers and what percentage are sold direct?
Currently, 37% of Anybill sales are made by resellers.
How do I arrange a demo or sales presentation for my prospective clients?
The best way is to contact us by calling 877-4-ANYBILL (877-426-9245) to arrange a web-based demo of Anybill software and services or, if deemed appropriate, an on-site sales presentation. Alternatively, you can email you request to us at sales@anybill.com.
What happens if another reseller sells a lead I have been working on?
In a case like this we rely on the client to tell us which reseller performed the sales service and then resolve the matter fairly.
If a prospective client I have been working with buys direct from Anybill, do I get credit for the sale?
We will credit the reseller with the sale if the client conveys to us that they were sold by the reseller and not the Anybill sales department.
